Good luck with the sleep exercises too - mum was telling me about that programme just now. I don't suffer from interrupted sleep as such, I just find it quite hard to fall asleep and to wake up, especially when I have to get up early. It's definitely a serious part of the reason I am so keenly pursuing the option of working for myself, although having said that, I do feel much more virtuous when I've got up early once I'm fully alert - it's both amazing and annoying how much more can be achieved on a day that starts at 7am versus 10 or 11.

I know Hambleden extremely well! It's about fifteen minutes from where I live and grew up and I've had so many memorable walks there (dad and I went to the lock on Christmas Day - there are one or two pics on my flickr, not that they're anywhere near as good as yours). I went there when the first series of the Vicar of Dibley was being filmed when I was about 10. Henley is great for walks too. If you ever get the chance, a Henley to Bourne End or Marlow river walk is well worth doing, I can recommend pubs for a good lunch too!

Arghhhh! Holes does my head in. They read it at school, plus they watch the film. The film is pants (especially when you've seen it a squillion times).

I realise that I sound like a teenager with this comment, but I don't care.

I haven't really heard Grizzly Bear's other stuff, so I suppose I had nothing to compare Veckatimest to.

Will check out Beach House, thanks. :)

I was a bit disappointed by Veckatimest. I loved the retro acoustic strangeness of Yellow House and they've moved away from that. I really like 'Cheerleader' though.

Beach House are pretty good:

Um. So...when I was skimming through Twitter trying half-heartedly to catch up on the days I missed, I definitely thought you said you saw Posh Spice at the theatre. Ahem. *twitchy eyes*
